The OAM will not only entertain auto enthusiasts. It will also educate.

Automobile design, development, and assembly are crucial to Canada’s economy. The industry performs an integral role in the advancement of our country’s manufacturing and exporting activities.

 

Public and private sector investments in the automotive industry in Ontario and the GTA are pivotal to both the provincial and national economies. The OAM will celebrate and share that rich history will all Canadians and visitors from around the world.

 

We intend to highlight Canadian contributions to developments in automotive engineering, including light-weighting, fuel efficiency, alternative powertrains and connected vehicles, as evidenced by R&D investments by Ontario-based OEMs, as well as our world-renowned suppliers of parts, components, and sub-assemblies.

 

Provincial and federal government support and private sector funding will help us create a world-class destination. Each wing will explore the past, present, and future of automotive technology, using a full range of static, interactive and digital experiences.
