THE OAM BOARD
The OAM will be managed by a board of directors that comprise of key stakeholders who bring their unique expertise to the project. The board will address the creation, financing, and management of the OAM.
The operating structure will be as follows:
Noah Shopsowitz BFA, BArch, MBA, - Build Director
As a leader in retail design and construction, Noah has a Bachelor of Architecture with distinction from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has 20 years of award-winning capital management and project delivery in Canada and the US. He is currently president of his own consulting firm, which focuses on large-scale mixed-use development opportunities, including strategic and capital planning.
Chris Korwin-Kuczynski - Head of Government Relations.
Chris served as former Deputy Mayor of Toronto. He is one of Toronto City Hall's longest-serving councilors, with 22 years of public service. Throughout his career, Korwin-Kuczynski held numerous positions on community councils, committees and boards, among them Parkdale Village Foundation, Physically Disabled Olympics, Non-Profit Housing Corporation, Mayor’s Task Force on Drugs, City of Toronto Millennium Task Force, and Children and Youth Action Committee.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University and is a former honorary captain of the Canadian Navy. He has political connections at the municipal, provincial, and federal level.
David Senater - Curator
David Senater is the founder of the Ontario Auto Museum and helped lead consultations for the Ontario Government at Ontario Place. His work has set the agenda for an innovations HUB planned for the revitalized lakefront property. A part of that construct is the United Nations Climate Change HUB. Davids work in Geneva and Toronto have forged needed alliances and plans for the approvals and financing for the complex. This by way of the UNFCC's GreenFund with land from the Ontario Government.
TBD - Director of Operations
The Director of operations will be responsible for the management and operation of the OAM. This will include the management of all the services provided by OAM including staff, support services, and the administration of the OAM.
TBD - Director of Shows and Exhibits
The Exhibit Director will curate and manage the acquisition and installation of exhibits year round. From transport, delivery and display the director will be responsible for the authentication and management of all vehicles.
Rod Davis - Exhibit Director
The Exhibit Director will curate and manage the acquisition and installation of exhibits year round. From transport, delivery and display the director will be responsible for the authentication and management of all vehicles.
Tom Beyer - Director of Events & Communications
The Director of Events is responsible for the management and implementation of all corporate events at the OAM. From dining and beverage services the Director will manage kitchen, bar and serving staff as well as coordinate of monthly event schedules and special requests including the menu items.
TBD- Director of Donations and Endowments
The Director of Donations and Endowments core responsibility is to reach out to philanthropists, corporations and other foundations who wish to donate funds or bequeath automotive collections to support the growth and expansion of the OAM.
TBD - Director of Sponsorship's
The Director of Sponsorships core responsibility is to reach out to the automotive industry as well as other institutions that would benefit by supporting the OAM.
TBD - Director of Finance
The Director of Finance will be responsible for the financial operations of the OAM. This will include the administration of payroll, taxation, income, benefits, and insurances.
TBD - Technical Director
The Technical Director will be responsible for the implementation, supervision, and management of all electronic and display systems. This will include mobile technology within the facility as well as the management of visitor database.
